oooo. i made my first visit to a bar! haha. went w some naruto-mates. lalalaa. went acid bar at somerset. nice place!!! there was a live band ytd. nice. like the ambience. n surprisingly, there was this sense of serenity in the bar. serenity. cant believe im using that word to describe a bar. but it's seriously peaceful n relaxing. chilling out.
yea. like everything except the smoke.
drank gin tonic n tequila. had a bit o duno wad beer. terence said that beer is less bitter. yip thinks so too. so gd. i think e tequila tasted like m&m. whereas gin tonic tasted like soft drink that is not too sweet. quite nice. that duno wad beer tasted like.. a lil carbonated bitter water.
still trying to figure out the taste of alcohol.
junwei says it's distinct. can smell from far. but i couldnt smell anything.
the bar smelled ok until the night fell. the waiters started lighting up the candlelights on the tables. (the candlelights became yip's firepit coz we were sitting at the place where the cold air from the air-conditioner attacked. the fire ceased a couple of times.. n each time, junwei conveniently kop another 'firepit' from the table nearby. haha. zai.)
people started streaming in while the band heated up. followed by a palpably thickened air. n we became passive smokers..
yet, the smoke did not seem to take any effect on us. we were all absorbed in the world of ours. looking up, all i could see in the softly lit-up area of ours is a dark patch of of the sky. through that small square of tall glass ceiling, i saw a few diamonds in that night sky. captivating.
really thankful that they sent me home. a very humerous n thoughtful bunch of people.
